Capstone
I wanted my capstone to be meaningful and helpful for my personal project(s). At first I wanted to create chapter illustration for the comic I am creating however, that did not fill fulfilling enough. I did not have a passion for the idea even though it technically helped my comic get one step closer to completion.
After contemplating things, I thought of Hannah Spiking's style guide. I believe I had seen it on her live streams once, basically she was creating a guide for the future pages of her own comic. In her case it was small in that it just said how to use patterns, when to shade, and several other elements. After I dived into the idea more, I came up with my new Capstone.
My plan was to expand on Spiking's guide by making it similar to a concept art book. I'd include character art, making a comic page, list materials I use, locations, and comic lore.
Comic
Rosario, lives in calamity with his only peace being his boyfriend. But when someone in this hellhole of a city takes that peace away Rosario is has no reason to keep going. In a city run by a casino and black market, Rosario has lost the only thing keeping him going.
However, when Rosario finds a lead as to who took away his peace, he sees a new reason to live - revenge.
With organs on the high rise, Illyes heart is out bid literally mid-operation. Rosario vows to find and take revenge on whoever it is that has taken it.
