I wanted his color scheme to seem very casual and down to earth yet at the same time be very messy. I wanted it to convey that he does not really care about his appearance, as though he just got out of bed.

I wanted the color scheme of Alibi to depict his hair as the brightest part of his appearance. Other than that, I felt that his clothes should be relatively dark due to his line of work and trying to say in the shadows/background a lot.

At first I wanted Chloe's appearance to be extremely monochromatic. However, due to their skin tone, I felt that the gray and black tones were too blunt. After analyzing the color scheme a bit more, I decided to implement the purple tone on their jacket.

I knew I wanted his color scheme to be extremely soft in appearance to contrast  with his not so wholesome personality. I iterated on the palette using pastel pinks and light browns in order to get a cozy appearance down.

Though the dress is quite simplistic, I wanted the color scheme to stand out in a crowd. I felt that a matte color would not showcase this properly, instead I went with a gradient of reds.
