Here Chloe is saying goodbye to Biscuit on their way out if their apartment. Though Biscuit trusts Chole, the small creature is still left concerned.

Chloe is walking the streets at night trying to not overthink their life. The city is depicted in the first two panels, whereas the final one shows that something has caught Chole's attention.

Chloe finds themselves in front of a market with their attention drawn to an advertisement of a snack they frequently partake in. It's not that Chole loves the snack, however it's something to get their mind off of things.

As Chloe walks throughout the store, the scenery of the market is shown and the reader should realize here that this is Matthew's market.

As Chloe is deciding which snack bar to get, the ding to the entrance goes off due to a new potential customer.

Here the person walked to the opposite side of aisle Chloe is in. Since the individual's hair is a bright pink, Chloe's attention travels to them. After realizing it's a person, Chloe tries to move along.

However, here Chloe decides to take another glance and sees different aspects of the person such as a t-shirt that Chole quite likes. After taking in everything, the last panel shows that the pink haired individual has actually noticed Chole's staring.

Chloe awkwardly apologizes as the individual giggles. This reaction makes Chloe cover their face, due to blushing, and escape the awkward situation. That is until something in the store intrigues them.

Here an ICEE/slushy machine is shown to have drawn Chloe in. After zooming in on a particular flavor, Chloe is actually deciding to get this instead.

It cuts to the cashier, indicated by small details to be Matthew. After paying, Chloe is shown leaving the market with a slushy with a color that appears to be extremely similar to the individual's hair.
